Solution to the Illegal and Legal Immigration Problem

May 26, 2010 in Arizona, BP, British Petroleum, Constitution, Environment, Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill, Human Rights, Immigration Reform, Mexican, Oil Spill, Political, Protect our Shores, racism, robber barons

It just now occurred to me that this country is actively addressing the immigration problem in general by destroying the beautiful shining seas, shores, and marsh as well as trying very hard convert the U.S. to a gestapo state (that seemed to work for Hitler), by demanding documentation to prove you’re a citizen.  Wonder if they’ve thought about tattoos yet…oh, that’s right. National ID cards..same thing.

Anyway, escapes me as to why anyone would want to move here in the first place. Good Going Corporate America and “you know who the rest of you are.”

Re-engineering the United States Into A Religious State

May 22, 2010 in Human Rights, Opinions, Political, Save the USA from Tyranny, Slaves

If the Texas School board gets it’s wish, and textbooks are rewritten to reflect that Thomas Jefferson was NOT one of the great thinkers and founders of this country, what on earth are kids going to think years from now when they see the Jefferson Memorial in D.C. Are they going to be completely mystified as to why such a grand beautiful monument of someone who had no impact on this country was built? I know I’d be curious. So, what’s the next step – tear the monument down the same way Sadam Hussein’s statue was torn down? Thank God they couldn’t get the words Slave Trade changed to Atlantic Trade Labor – can you imagine, they even want to deny that there was slavery in this country. Folks…y’all better pay attention.

An explanation of why Texas wants to do this: Thomas Jefferson was adamant about a separation of church & state…he didn’t even have a chapel built at the Univ. of Va because he wanted to keep ideological and religious beliefs out of learning.

The Texas School Board has an agenda of indoctrinating children now into a Christian belief so that eventually they will turn this country, our United States of American, into a religious state…think about the other religious states out there..Afghanistan, the Taliban..Saudi Arabia, Iraq..and on and on…These are our here and now examples of what religion-controlled governments can do, and how they can suppress people in order to control them…

So, the natural first step is for Texas is to strip all credibility from Thomas Jefferson…y’all OK with that? I’m not.

Why should the rest of us care what Texas does? Because they order so many textbooks,  it’s cheaper for the rest of the states to just buy the Texas version instead of having separate versions. There is a claim that because of on-line editing, the textbooks can be customized for any curriculum…I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for this to happen.

MEMORIES OF MY FAMILY MEETINGS still are a source of strength to me. I
remember we'd all get into the car -- I forget what kind it was -- and
drive and drive.

I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some bees there. The
smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we
played. I remember a bigger, older guy whom we called "Dad." We'd eat
some stuff or not and then I think we went home.

I guess some things never leave you.
